Calibration support checks whether an instrument still performs inside the limits your method needs. Mahut verifies the functions that drift: detector response, wavelength or flow behavior, and repeatability of a known check standard.
This is performance verification of the instrument, done with your method in mind. It is not a substitute for your laboratory’s own method validation or for an accreditation body’s scope.
We record the conditions: column or equivalent, mobile phase or gases, flow, temperature, and the standard used. A pass on a different method is not evidence that your method is fine.
Mahut does not replace your quality manager. We do not issue accreditation decisions, and we do not adjust a result to force a pass. If the instrument fails the check, the next step is repair or performance optimization, then a repeat check.
After a major repair, after a detector lamp or column change that affects response, and on the interval your quality system already requires. Pair it with preventive maintenance when both are due, so the hardware is sound before the check standard is run.
